Schoharie Central School District receives clean audit | News
The Schoharie Central School District finances have received a clean audit by the firm of Marvin & Company CPAs, P.C.
The firm recently completed the audit for the school year that ended on June 30, 2011. According to the district’s website, it is the goal each year for the Business Office staff to reach this level of unqualified performance.
According to Marvin & Company, a clean opinion means that the combined financial statements "present fairly, in all material respects, the financial position of the Schoharie Central School District at June 30, 2011 and the results of its operations for the year then ended, in conformity with generally accepted accounting principles."
A copy of the audit report is available for review in the District Business Office Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
