Old Stone Fort Museum to host lecture | Events

On Thursday, July 26 at 7 p.m., the lecture “From Muscles to Motors on the Farm: Henry Ford and the Great American Tractor Wars, 1910-1930” will be presented at the Old Stone Fort Museum.

The lecture will include rare images from the archives of many tractor manufacturers and depictions of the seasons of agricultural work before the factory farm replaced the family farm. The lecture will also discuss the Fordson tractor and Henry Ford's entry into the tractor business.

The lecture is free with museum admission.

The Old Stone Fort Museum Complex is located at 145 Fort Road just off State Rt. 30.
