The Dunkin’ Donuts Toys for Tots Train, presented by Canadian Pacific Railway, is making its annual run across New York to deliver gifts to thousands of children and families in need on Saturday.
The train’s run is the result of Dunkin’ Donuts $25,000 contribution of to the Toys for Tots Foundation.
Cobleskill’s Dunkin Donuts is one of 12 locations across New York that U.S. Marines will board the Dunkin’ Donuts Toys for Tots Train.
Toys and gifts purchased with a $25,000 donation from Dunkin’ Donuts will be hand delivered to local children, families and non-profit organizations awaiting the train’s arrival at each station.
Additionally, $5,000 worth of coats purchased with additional support from Dunkin’ Donuts will be delivered to keep children warm during the cold winter months.
This year’s contribution from Dunkin’ Donuts brings the two-year grand total to more than $50,000 in support of the Toys for Tots Train.
The train will be stopping at the Cobleskill Dunkin’ Donuts at 3 p.m. Saturday.
